Further to you being sent the Information Pack we need to inform of a number of changes.

As you may have been aware, the event is a Test event to pilot the new mountain-bike circuit within the quarry and so get feedback that will help make the case for further trail development. Due to a combination of factors including the recent wet weather, delays in the construction of the full circuit (resulting in the decrease in lap distance to 4km from that originally advertised and limited bedding in time),and a consequent low level of pre-entries we are changing the nature of the day in a number of ways. 

• There will a greater emphasis on the pre-riding.
• The races will still occur at the times given in the info pack, though we may start more categories together if entry levels are low.
• Trophies and prizes will still be awarded for each category
• The registration point will be located up in the Quarry, unless the weather remains very wet � in which case it will be in the event car-park.
• The trade stands, try-outs and workshops will still be present and located up in the Quarry
•  We shall have a small refreshment stall located within the registration point selling teas, coffees, snack bars and cakes. There will now not be free soup and roll.
• There will be a local café open throughout the day, located opposite the car-park.
• Toilet facilities may have to be located in the car-park and not in the Quarry � again subject to weather on the day.

As a result of all of these changes we feel it unfair to charge you an entry fee. You will therefore receive a full refund. If you paid by cheque then your cheque will be returned, if you entered online you will receive a refund to your credit card.

Entry will also be free to those who enter on the day.

We would like your feedback on the day to help us and the course developers learn from the day and aid future plans. We will therefore issue you with a survey form on the day.
