It’s a little ironic though that I’ve probably managed less time on the bike so far this year. That should change though especially as I’ll be building up to a big challenge towards the autumn. And we’re lucky that riding our bikes can be an important part of our day job – a nice trip around the Delamere Forest area last week setting our new LCL Sportive. Event List 2009.

To the Moon and Back - and Beyond. That’s how far will be cycled this year in our event programme as confirmed so far - with a few more in the pipeline could we get over the million mile mark?

Our unique cycle-smoothie makers have been getting plenty of use. And in case this wintry weather is making a cold fruit drink too chilly we have also made some adapations and can now pedal a warming, healthy soup. If you’re interested in finding out more or booking it please email [email protected]

And we still get the chance to put on some ski trips….. .

Details of our main event programme for 2009 are on our website. Please note that others will be added to the programme either as details become finalised or when we can go public about them.

Under and Over the Mersey 09.

Not that it’s all cycling. Thirty thousand miles underground is the realistic target for the special event planned for the 75th anniversary of the Queensway Tunnel in Merseyside. Building on the award-winning event from last year, Under and Over the Mersey 09 will be a big party celebrating this iconic engineering feature. An extensive entertainment programme and historic transport will complement the walkthrough. The event will be held on 19th July.
