Pendle, which incidentally is where Pennine Events was born, has a wealth of high-performing world class businesses and the Business Awards was a high quality celebration evening to recognise and celebrate their achievements.

We created a stylish brand image which set the tone for the fully-integrated set design, all the animations, lectern, room décor and the video presentations.

The evening was attended by 250 people, commencing with a drinks reception with live background music, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner leading into the awards ceremony. It was all hosted by BBC TV and Radio Presenter Graham Liver. Live entertainment included a singer, pianist and a table magician.

The set was contemporary, corporate, clean and slick including HD screens integrated into the 'flats'. Lighting colour washed the set and 'front lit' the presenter. The set and the podium area were on a specially created stage carpeted in matching colour. The room was wall washed with coloured LED with the lighting 'dimmable' from a central control point.

A key part of the evening were the high quality videos we produced beforehand featuring the sponsors playing in the introduction to each award, which seamlessly interlinked to the live filming and broadcasting we carried out throughout. Each pre-recorded video had a professional voiceover and this was carried through to the winner's announcements backed by stylish screen animations and graphics.

Our experienced editor seamlessly switched between Live Cameras, Video Playback and 'Graphics' properly mixed into a consistent video output to all screens to ensure faultless performance.
