CYCLE PROMOTION
BIKE FESTS & CYCLE SHOWS
Bike Fest and Cycle Shows are an excellent way of attracting a new audience of non-cyclists.
They provide the opportunity to:
impart information & provide advice answer queries from potential riders entertain raise awareness about local cycle issues launch other cycling initiatives conduct surveys
GUIDED RIDES
Evaluation at Bike Fests and experience has shown that a major reason preventing people from cycling is lack of knowledge of safe routes. As part of the Bike Fest, or as a separate programme, Pennine Events set up easy paced guided rides on suitable routes in the area. These are designed for beginners and families. Local cyclists / clubs are used to lead them and to give advice to the participants.
CYCLE RIDES
Mass participation rides, such as the Liverpool � Chester, can be a good way of promoting cycling through media attention and by providing a suitable challenge for people to do. Pennine Events design and organise cycle rides of varying distances, both on and off-road, to meet specific client objectives.
CYCLE TRAINING
Using OTC & CTC trained and qualified instructors, Pennine Events can deliver training courses for all ages and abilities - from beginners through to competent road riding and serious mountain-biking.

LEAFLETS AND ROUTE GUIDES

The provision of good quality information is often sought by riders of all levels, particularly beginners and intermediates, and by tourists. Pennine Events research route and visitor information, write them in a manner suitable for the audience and design and produce route leaflets and guides.

ROUTE INFORMATION & ADVISORY SERVICE

To complement the route guides and leaflets Pennine Events offer a free route information and advice service. Their extensive knowledge allows Pennine Events to provide personal advice in response to individual enquiries. For example, helping a family chose somewhere to ride that meets their own objectives and circumstances such as age and fitness levels and the need for a suitable incentive/attraction for the children.
CYCLING PROMOTION STRATEGIES Pennine Events can draw upon plenty of experience in health promotion, marketing and cycling to advise or put together local cycle promotion strategies. This includes carrying out local research, consultations, identifying local solutions and the design and production of brands and slogans
FUNDING APPLICATIONS
We know that cycling budgets often don�t stretch to some of the events and promotions outlined above and that external funding is often required. Pennine Events can carry out the funding applications including SRB application forms and sponsorship proposals.

Popular choices
