We have organised the event annually since its beginning in 2009 on behalf of the Christie NHS Foundation Trust. We devised the original concept and look to make continual additions to keep it at the forefront of night-time walks. In this way it has continued to grow every year, now raising in excess of £30k for the cancer charity.

The event base is in the Lowry Plaza in front of the famous Lowry theatre and close to Media City. The walk route takes the glowing participants around the Quays, close to Old Trafford Stadium and through the Piazza in Media City.

The route is signed and comprehensively stewarded to ensure everybodies safety and comfort. We also have cycling route managers and first-aid responders on route with the walkers.

Our team organise every aspect of the event from venue bookings, risk assessments, design of the entertainment, safety documentation, local business and resident liaisons through to arranging all infrastructure and managing the event on the night itself.
