Our second Wiggle North Series Event – Wiggle 4 Counties - took place on Sunday 15 May and was brought to the North West courtesy of Pennine Events Ltd, Wiggle and St Catherine’s Hospice. In perfect weather conditions, cyclists took to either three or four counties - an 82 or 100 mile challenge.

In April 2016, the Pennine Events team organised and managed the build of a temporary stadium for the Lancaster University Student Union Roses event – an annual tournament between the students and sporting rivals from York University.

The Tour de Yorkshire took place over the May Day bank holiday weekend from Friday 29th April - Sunday 1st May 2016, with Stage One finishing in the beautiful town of Settle.

The very first Wiggle North Series Event – Wiggle Along The Border - was brought to the North West courtesy of Pennine Events Ltd and Wiggle. On Sunday 20 March, cyclists took to the English and Welsh countryside to take part in a 62 or 49 mile challenge.

The very first Great Northern Event, Expo was brought to the North West courtesy of Pennine Events Ltd. On 22 March. The Premier Suite within the Macron Stadium, Bolton was transformed into an events extravaganza where event professionals and industry suppliers gathered to source new suppliers and new event ideas.

For the Tour de France in Yorkshire in 2014, Pennine Events Ltd worked closely with North Yorkshire County and the 3 Districts in the County through which the race passed to deliver the event in an efficient and effective manner and to the highest standards of safety and quality possible.

Sport Relief Case Study

The BBC Radio Lancashire Olympic Bike Ride was a 5 day cycle ride from the Olympic Stadium in London to Preston City Centre was organised as part of the Sport Relief campaign in March 2012.

Originating from the Children in Need Tower to Tower Ride we organised for Breakfast Show and North West Tonight presenter Graham Liver, the event started with a phone call from Graham to company Director Mark Sandamas, "Hi Mark, I've a daft idea for a follow up.....involving a tandem..."
